The annual Battle of the Babes fishing competition at Castlepoint soared to new heights in 2024 with a record number of participants and the weather gods providing 2 great weather days .
With over 450 fish weighted in, anglers battled it out for a share of the 410,000 of prizes provided by generous local sponsors.
President Lorraine Whitcombe expressed delight at the overwhelming turnout, laughs and memories and the fun had by all , noting a great sense of community amongst the participants.
