In 1975, the now owner of Jayco Australia, Gerry Ryan, was working for a small caravan manufacturer in Victoria. Ryan was sent to Jayco’s Camper Trailer USA facility to assess their new camper lifting mechanisms. Even though his employer could not see them taking off, Ryan could see the future of camping in Australia. Jayco is now the largest manufacturer of vehicles in the Southern Hemisphere, producing around 14,000 units per year at a rate of one per 8.6 minutes.
Jayco’s Camper Trailers are affordable, uncomplicated, easy to tow and big to live in. They are perfect for the keen fisherman and his family or mates, with enough ground clearance and strength to get into the toughest spots. Jayco camper trailers are designed for comfort, built to last and equipped for effortless enjoyment for all the family—without breaking the bank.

The range’s hallmark is dependable, durable construction. A RV is only as strong as the base that it’s built, so Jayco construct the Endurance Chassis to last like no other. Lightweight yet super strong—hot-dip galvanised for lifelong protection against corrosion—it features PSC member floor support, which better resist bending and compression, while also safeguarding under floor wiring and plumbing.
The tent sections are made from Australian heavy-duty 14 oz canvas and boltiflex; they are one piece and double-stitched for extra durability. Furniture in the camper trailer is built on Jayco’s patented aluminium frame for strength and durability.

All Jayco camper trailers are built with Jayco Maxiframe: a quad-layer aluminium frame wall construction technology that is both stronger and lighter than those of conventional ‘timber and tin’ aluminium clad campers.
Jayco camper trailers are compact and a perfect upgrade from a tent, allowing you to be close to nature while enjoying the creature comforts of home.
