Spiced venison lettuce cups – Wild food recipes with Marcus

Here’s a real winner for all that venison mince.

Clean and aromatic flavours best paired with a nice hazy and a good yarn.

Ingredients

  • Venison Mince
  • Chilli Oil
  • Fried Shallots
  • Original Smoke and Spice Seasoning
  • Garlic
  • Kaffir Lime leaves
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh Limes
  • Lettuce
  • Mung Bean sprouts

Method

Fry mince in hot pan with a tablespoon of chilli oil and all ingredients until browned.

Spoon onto lettuce cups filled with bean sprouts,shock dose with lashings of lime juice.

Now let it slide down with a cold beer next to the fire life is good
